Welcome to Conant Acres

Established in 1936, Conant Acres is a fifth-generation dairy farm in the Western Maine Foothills. In addition to our purebred dairy herd, we bottle and sell raw milk and produce a variety of specialty cheeses. Our farm market features our raw milk, cheese curds, and a variety of specialty cheddars from our dairy farm, including our flagship maple, blueberry, and cranberry cheddar cheeses. Additionally, we offer a range of seasonal fruits and veggies, beef, pork, chicken, homemade canned goods, baked goods, maple products, honey, and a variety of other local food items.

For years we have focused on raising high quality pedigree Holstein cattle with an emphasis on animal care. Our dairy herd consists of 90 milking cows, with 250 total on the farm. Our cattle genetics have been marketed around the world and the herd has received accolades on both a national and international level for superior genetics and confirmation. Currently, our herd is top in the country for confirmation score for our farm size with a BAA of 115.4.
